1)    Get a schedule of work, what,when, how, how long
2)    Establish work hours
3)    Establish means for follow up and changes
        who, how, when (in writing if change order)
4)    Determine area of home which will be accessed
        Do a walk through with contractor
        Verify set up: drop cloths, cover furniture, etc

5)    Clear access areas for attic, crawlspace, breaker box
6)    Ask when power or services will be off
7)    Remove small breakable items from home, valuables
8)    Keep children away from workers and work areas
9)    Be sure to have an adult present at all times
10)  When work is complete, do a final walk through

Painting Contractor's prepare surfaces, paint, stain and waterproof a variety of surfaces in both commercial buildings and residential homes and developments. They work on walls, ceilings, and floors. Some may also perform lead based paint remediation.
